Joan's Joy for Jesus

As the one who felt led by God to create this website, I sometimes stay awake nights with ideas streaming into my head of what I should include for all of you. I'm very excited about it and only hope I'm up to the challenge. As the mom, I'll have some special stuff for mothers and women as well. I used to be a journalist before the car wreck that changed our lives so hopefully some of those skills will pop in on occasion to help with this site. Now I'm more of an artist when my hands cooperate. I'm sure God will use me however He sees fit.

Tenaya's Teenage Thoughts

As the teenager in the family, Tenaya can offer insights and ideas on things teenagers might enjoy and/or learn from. Currently a junior in high school, she has acted, sung, and danced in many school plays and musicals. This isn't surprising since I had her start learning to dance at 2 years old and she's loved it from the get-go. She has also worked behind the scenes, from creating stage scenery to running lights and sound. She's been a cheerleader and drum majorette, and for the past couple years our mermaid has been on the swim team. She also loves to read, to watch her school sports teams or go to the movies with him or her friends. She lives in a medium-sized city so can comment on city life for teens as well.
